Autoclave has become one of The Most Essential Medical Devices to Perform Sterilization and Vulcanization of Rubber

An autoclave is basically a machine utilized to perform scientific and industrial processes involving high pressure and temperature in relation to the ambient pressure and temperature throughout the process. This is done by using a sealed chamber with a heat source, where various chemical reactions take place depending on the state of matter being processed. The chamber is also sealed to prevent the chemical reaction from occurring with the temperature outside. An autoclave cleans and seals the inner chamber while simultaneously circulating cool air through the outer case to keep the internal temperature constant.

Autoclave

There are different types of
autoclaves that are used for various applications. These types of machines are used in high heat industries such as electronics or food preparation to sterilize electronic equipment. It is also used in the manufacturing industry for high-temperature processing of materials and in the medical field for surgical applications and cooling procedures. These types of machines are usually called "black boxes" since their internal workings are not easily accessible for the end-user. The process is usually controlled by a program or computer software that enables it to operate safely and reliably under high temperatures. Pressure Steam Sanitation (RDSS) utilizes extremely high temperatures to kill bacteria and germs. It is similar to the traditional boiling method but uses a combination of heat and pressure for sanitization.

Steam Sterilization operates by introducing steam into the high-pressure chamber to increase the temperature to a critical point where damage to any electronic component is prevented. The steam contact is maintained by a circulating pump that adds pressure to the system. A sterilizer is then added to the steam mixture to enhance the cleansing properties of the sterilizing agent. After this step, the steam is removed to create a sterile environment for final testing. Recently, in February 2019, LBBC Baskerville, a U.K.-based company, launched a new corrosion testing autoclave at Corrosion 2019.
